Dear Friend,
On the weekend before Thanksgiving, I will attempt to raise 100,000 pounds of much-needed food for the LA Regional Foodbank. By giving, you are supporting our holiday effort entering its 16th year. Thanks to your support, these families might otherwise go hungry Thanksgiving night. I have a personal stake as this fundraiser has grown to become one of the biggest, most efficient Food Drives for the LA Foodbank. I will personally oversee all food purchases, gathering the best of the best! High priority Thanksgiving dinner staples include Mrs. Cubbison’s Stuffing, OceanSpray Cranberry Sauce and Libby’s Pumpkin Pie Mix. These quality food items are rare for the less fortunate. I will stretch your donation dollars by ‘buying in bulk.’
Join us any of the three days Friday November 22nd, 23rd & 24th Smart & Final located at 11221 West Pico Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90064. (Pico & the 405) We will not stop until we’ve ‘Stuffed-the-Truck’ with food! The Los Angeles Foodbank faces many challenges in the form of State & Federal Budget cutbacks.
